About the series

The Bang Slalom is back and once more Europe's season ender of the Burton Mystery Series. Bringing together riders under a shared love for snowboarding, this event throws away the rules and focuses on what matters the most: community and good times. This isn’t about winning or losing. It’s about having as much fun as possible.

In partnership with Solheisen Resort in Hemsedal the Bang Slalom has moved to the sunny side of Hemsedal: Solheisen Skisenter, Grøndalen - the small resort with the big possibilities.

Banked Slalom

The event will feature an inclusive, all-ages and abilities banked slalom, including two runs for each rider. Please register here to join as we can only offer a limited amount of spots in order to guarantee a fun but also smooth flow of competition.

Mystery Session - TBC

An open Mystery session allows to ride alongside a few of your favorite athletes, progress your own level of snowboarding, and win some cool stuff while at it. You don't have to compete in the banked slalom to join the session, everyone is invited.

Music, drinks & more

From the beginning of the contest day to the end, Mystery Series is an all-day party. There's gonna be drinks, bbq & some banger tunes. Come and spend a day with us having as much fun as possible.

Not a lot of snow this year is, that’s old news, but we are working on to make a smaller and fun course. So less bangs. It will be in the lower part of the slops and the finish line will be in front of the Café Solstua.

This year we are hiking the course and there will be no lift. For the small ones we have transport if needed.

We’ll have awesome prizes for the top three finishers in each of our categories. The fastest riders will take home some cool snowboarding gear but keep in mind that Mystery stands for celebrating individual progression, no matter what level you ride on. So come and have fun with us, and stay tuned for giveaways throughout the event day.
